SARAH FAWCETT

Curently the Group Fitness Director for Lifestyle Family Fitness, Sarah has been a certified group fitness instructor for 17 years.  In addition to this, she is a canfitpro FIS PRO Trainer, which allows her to certify fresh, new group fitness instructors.

"Retro Robics"

Remember Jane Fonda?   Well, meet Sarah and she has a love for the old school days of hi/lo aerobic exercise!   Beginning with basic low impact movements, layer and create new choreography using the rhythm of the music, lots of directional changes and some new steps to liven up your class.   Leg warmers optional!

"On The Ball"

Go back to your school days and have a ball:   spin it, bounce it, rotate it, swing it, throw it, sit on it, drop it, and groove on it!   Combine these playful elements with simple hi/lo choreography, add a challenge to your core and heart rate and you have a well-‘rounded’ and fun workout.

LESLIE STEWART

Leslie has been in this industry for 18 years, with step being her specialty.  She has developed the name Lethal Leslie, due to the abundance of videos on youtube, the number of fanatics that subscribe to her blog, and the way she teaches her fitness classes.  She is also presenting in Calgary this year at the upcoming AAYWCA Fitness Leader Retreat in Calgary. http://www.aaywcabanff.ca/

"Lethal Step with Mileage"

Do you spend hours building choreography?   Are you running out of ideas?   This workshop will help get you more mileage out of your choreography.   Quickly transform your choreography by simply adding rhythm changes, changing the placement of your step, adding another step and making little changes to make it feel different.   Join Leslie for a ‘lethal’ step adventure.

"REV Sampling"

Using only the 5 movements in indoor cycling, come and experience a ‘sample’ of different profiles you can extend to make a 45-minute or hour ride.   This workshop will teach you ways to vary your profiles.   If you are looking for some new ideas to bring to your class, this session is for you!

ANITA DIMAMBRO

As a Mad Dogg Spinner and running enthusiast, Anita does not do anything half-heartedly.  Her group cycling classes motivate and inspire her participants to continually ride better with greater efficiency so that they can continue to make gains in their fitness levels.

"Spintensity"

An exciting and dynamic road race simulation spent almost entirely at the peak of your aerobic ceiling, perhaps even spinning it up briefly into your anaerobic zone.   This class is designed to improve endurance, stride efficiency and overall economy of your movement.

GOSKA CANO

As a certified Personal Trainer, Goska takes training to the next level during her boot camp classes.  She specializes in pre and post natal pregnancy and has organized running clubs and fitness classes  for mothers.

"Time Efficient Strength Training Workouts"

This class will help fitness professionals design workout programs and fitness classes that incorporate circuit training, super sets and compound exercises.   The workouts will have appropriate exercises for participants of every level.

COREY MARIUZ

Corey has been trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and other styles of dance. He has been dancing since the age of 6 and has progressed into a seasoned performer. He has received scholarships allowing him to dance at Edge Performing Arts Center and Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles as well as Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Corey has attended Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division Summer School twice and was accepted on both occasions into their full time program.  His own concept, Cardio Dance Fusion, at Lifestyle Family Fitness, has been a great success.

"Cardio Dance Fusion"

If you have music in your heart and dance in your soul, you already possess the essential tools necessary for teaching an exhilarating and fun workout.   Simply select music that moves you and create easy to follow choreography by combining familiar hi/lo steps with dance moves.   Men and women of all shapes, sizes and ages will get an effective fitness dance class that is a heart-pumping, fun-filled cardio explosion!

"Urban Groove"

Take it back to the streets where it all began and explore hip hop grooves from its African origins   to its more contemporary styles such as ‘Krump’ and ‘House’.   Get lost in this creative and funky way –move your body the way it wants to—GROOVE!

Thank you,
Sarah Fawcett
