It is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind.  It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body.  It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain.

HATHA YOGA Mind/Body (All levels, but must be actively mobile).  Hatha yoga is a balance of mind, body and self exploration. The class includes controlled meditation through breath as well as poses for stretch, strength and release. Each class closes with a period of guided relaxation to destress. Participation is suitable for all levels.

HATHA YOGA Intermediate This class is designed to prepare the participant to experience poses that require more instruction and time to teach. One or two intermediate poses will be selected, and ample time allowed to teach them safely. Any level of experience is welcome and everyone will be allowed to experience their own level of success. The class is more interactive as we learn together.
