Mike is a retired auto worker putting in 30 years both on the line, and the last 6 years teaching electronics classes for Chrysler Corp.

He has taught swing dance classes for the City of Windsor, Parks and Recreation Dept., and is a dance instructor at Xtreme Dance Works, Performing Arts Academy in Old Walkerville, and at the Cat’z Meow Dance Centre in Amherstburg. He is also a noted dance judge on Dancing With the Local Stars, at Caesar’s Windsor, helping to bring awareness to the Bone Marrow Registry through the Better World Today Association.

He enjoys teaching all types of aqua classes, but especially likes doing the arthritis program for seniors. He finds that seniors appreciate any form of exercise, and loves it when they describe how good they feel after doing one of his low impact, range of motion classes.  If you are at the gym and hear people belting out the oldies, it’s probably his aqua arthritis class “getting into” his fun oriented class. He strongly believes that if the class enjoys themselves while working out, they will come back time and time again.  Mike loves the interaction he has with all the new friends he has made teaching aqua classes at Lifestyle Family Fitness.
