Bill has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and has studied with numerous instructors and various styles; he has found that every pose can be modified so that anyone can practice yoga. In 2002, he practiced yoga in China and Russia, and now incorporates those skills and teachings that he learned in those cultures into his own practice. Examples of other workshops that he has attended to compliment his yoga certification are Kripalu, Viniyoga, Yin Yoga and Kundalini. He finds that his class at Lifestyles is a group who is interested in yoga and who is also very fit; therefore it allows him to really challenge the class, which in turn challenges him. They all improve as a result.
